I bought a 1995 Stratocaster Plus Deluxe, which was the predecessor to the American Deluxe. This model came standard with some neat things, like:
- Mahogany neck
- Lace sensor pickups - low-noise dual coil pickups in a single coil form factor
- Floating Floyd Rose bridge
- Roller bearing nut
- All hardware in a matching brushed finish
I thought it would look neat with a tortoise shell pickguard.
